Who we are

co-synq is a shared workspace for consultants, coaches, freelancers, and service teams. The public website is available at co-synq.com, and the product workspace is available at app.co-synq.com.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use co-synq, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Account and profile details, such as name, email address, role, workspace details, and login information.
  • Client relationship content, such as client records, session notes, goals, milestones, documents, contracts, messages, and reminders that you choose to add to the product.
  • Technical and usage data, such as device information, browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from network information, logs, and security events.
  • Support and communication data, such as messages you send to us, feedback, and issue reports.
  • Payment or subscription-related records if paid plans are enabled, usually handled by payment and billing providers.

How we use data

We use personal data to provide and improve the service, including to create accounts, operate workspaces, secure access, send product-related messages, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and understand whether the public website is useful.

Where applicable, our legal bases may include performing a contract, taking steps before a contract, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and consent for optional analytics cookies or similar technologies.

How data is shared

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, communicate, and operate co-synq; with authorities if legally required; or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

If you invite a client into a workspace, information you choose to share with that client may be visible in their client portal. Workspace owners are responsible for choosing what belongs in a shared client space.

Retention and security

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support business records. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and the reason it is processed.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, including secure hosting, access controls, and encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and respond responsibly.

Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, including KVKK and GDPR-style rights where relevant, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for certain processing.

You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can understand and respond to your request.
